a Pittsburgh native, and resident of Forest Hills, Nina is a talented photographer. The majority of her photos are of the natural world, from distant landscapes to macro shots. Nina was also a vendor at our first Forest Hills Pride!
Dragonflies and Lavender
Dragonflies & Lavender is a small, woman owned business. The artist, Carlee, is December 2023 graduate from Chatham University, who studied international business and graphic design. To channel her inner artist and put her studies into practice, Carlee has created Dragonflies & Lavender to share her creations with the world. Carlee focuses her work on one main medium: digital illustration. The digital illustration work is created using adobe illustration on a macbook. Using the computer mouse and online tools to build and create everything. All digital work is made available to purchase through 8x10 in and 5x10 in prints, vinyl stickers, and more.

Tie-Dye Station with Graeme Bowers
Graeme is a local resident of Forest Hills and a former volunteer with Forest Hills Pride. He intents to set up a tie-dye station at Forest Pride this year. T-shirts will be available for purchase but you may also bring your own articles of clothing to dye!

Mary Jean is a native of Pittsburgh who earned her degree from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and point Park University. Mary jean has been an illustrator for local newspaper and Westinghouse corp. Mary jean has also been a professor at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

East End Performing Arts
I am a voice teacher, who around 2017/2018 learned that that trans and non-binary communities were seeking out singers and actors for help with voice feminization/masculinization because typical speech language pathologists were not always meeting their needs. Additionally, as we have a new generation of LGBTQ+ actors and singers coming up and entering their careers, the typical binary of casting does not always allow those performers to present themselves in a way that feels authentic, so I also specialize in helping actors/singers within the community find and polish repertoire that allows them to reflect and tell the stories important to them, and not was that canon of theatre has traditionally reflected. You can find the studio on Facebook and Instagram. At present I have 3 clients for gender affirming services, but is an area that I wish to make a larger part of my clientele.

Allies for Health + Wellbeing, we are an LGBTQ+ and HIV+ focused non-profit with a medical clinic in East Liberty and case management program for people living with HIV who are Ryan White certified in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Since 1918, C.C. Mellor Memorial Library has been committed to “educate, entertain and enlighten” all members of our community from our historic building in Edgewood and our branch location in the Forest Hills borough building.
